How booking works, start to finish

Five steps, no account to create and nothing charged until your date is confirmed. This page walks through each one, and through what we need from you before the day.

The five steps

Choose the experience and session. Each page has a Book now button. Pick the option - for the food tour that is the session and how you ride; for the classes, the session or the vegetarian version.
Send the form. Date, number of adults and children, your name, email and phone, where you are staying, and anything about diet or allergies.
We confirm. We check the date with the team that runs the experience and reply with a confirmation and the total.
You pay in full. By the card payment link we send, or by bank transfer to the account named on the confirmation.
We send the details. Pick-up time and place for the food tour, or the class kitchen's location and how to get there.

What we need from you, and why

We ask for	Because
Your hotel or area	It sets the food tour pick-up time and whether a supplement applies; for classes it lets us suggest a transfer
Diet and allergies	Teachers and guides plan the menu in advance, not on the day
Children's ages	Minimum ages differ: 6 for the classes, 12 for the food tour
Self-ride: which licence you hold	Only a 1968 Vienna Convention permit with your home licence, or a Vietnamese licence, is valid
A phone or WhatsApp number	So the guide can reach you on the day if a pick-up runs late or the weather changes

We do not ask for passport copies or card numbers in the form, and you should never send them by email. Card payment happens only through the payment link.

Self-riders: before you book

If you plan to ride your own scooter on the food tour, check two things before you choose the self-ride option. First, the convention printed on your International Driving Permit: it must say 1968 (Vienna), not 1949 (Geneva). Second, that your home licence includes a motorbike category. Bring both originals to pick-up.

On the day you will sign a rider's declaration and take a short test ride. If anything does not check out, you ride pillion and pay the USD 30 difference. No alcohol for self-riders at any point.

On the day

Food tour: be in your hotel lobby at the pick-up time. Wear closed shoes and clothes you can sit on a scooter in. Helmets are provided; bring sunglasses in the morning and a light layer at night.
Classes: arrive at the class kitchen a few minutes before the start. Wear clothes you do not mind getting a little sauce on; aprons are provided.
Pass It On Kitchen: comfortable shoes for the market walk.
All three: come hungry. Every one of them ends with eating.

Changes, cancellations and weather

Moving to another session or date is free when there is space, if you ask more than 24 hours ahead. Cancellation refunds depend on notice: everything back, less any card fee already charged, at more than 48 hours; half between 48 and 24 hours; nothing inside 24 hours or for a no-show.

If the weather or road conditions make the food tour unsafe, the operator cancels and you choose between a full refund and a free move to another session. Classes run in the rain; Pass It On Kitchen only drops its market walk. The full text is in the booking terms, and payment methods are on the how to pay page.

Payment safety

We never ask you to pay a different account at short notice by email or chat. If a payment request looks different from your confirmation, do not pay - contact us first using the details on this website.
